Four year varsity starter. Both my freshmen and sophomore season led my team in rebounding, averaging over 10 rebounds a game. I moved to Florida and played at the IMG Basketball Academy for my junior year of high school. I successfully made the transition from playing in the post exclusively to developing the skill set to play a wing. I have increased my 3 point shooting percentage from last year at 37% to 48% after 22 games.
Currently we are in the CIF SS Playoff's just winning the the 3AA semi-final against Elsinore with James Johnson, Virginia signee and the Championship game against Oceanview High School who has 3 prospective D-1 players, including Stanford bound Anthony Brown.
Coach Vince Walden from the IMG Basketball Academy described me as a "Lanky, athletic swing man who can score in traffic, from the perimeter, or in the paint. Lefty who can stretch the defense with the three point shot, and can defend guards and forwards. Good basketball IQ, excellent teammate, coachable, and has a great upside! "
I have maintained over a 3.8 GPA since my freshmen year and scored a composite 25 on my first ACT.
Currently in the season we are 28-2 going into the CIF SS 3AA Championship . We are ranked third in the county, 2nd in the 3AA CIF-SS Division and 22nd in the state I am the second leading scorer on a very balanced team where everyone contributes.
