2009 WOMEN'S JUCO TOP 120 ELITE DEBUTS IN TULSA

Women basketball players will get a chance to display their talents this summer at the Top 120 JUCO Showcases held at University of Tulsa, Tulsa, Oklahoma on July 10-11, 2009.

The top JC basketball prospects are welcome by invitation only. College Coaches will come to see the best JUCO talent from around the country. Ebony Haliburton, Director of Women's Basketball Operations from College Coaches Network will operate the women's event. College Coaches Network also co-sponsors a similar Men's Top 120 JUCO Showcase that will be held that same weekend at Oral Roberts. The Men's event last year was attended by over 400 Coaches.

Ebony is getting phone calls from coaches around the country requesting that their player(s) attend this event.  Junior College athletes are hungry to seek exposure from four-year colleges and universities.

Ebony, who played at University of Kansas, Cowley CC and Oral Roberts University, states that the feedback has been tremendous from coaches as there was a real need to highlight this group of women players. She is focusing her attention on top Division 1 transfers and the Top JUCO players in the country who love the game and want to play at the next level. This 1^st Annual event for the women will focus known talent such as:

• Jelena Cerina, 6'5", NE Oklahoma Community College
• Tajay Ashmeade, 6'3", Trinity Valley Community College
• Monica Mcgill, 6'3", Weatherford College
• Deeva Vaughn, 6'0", Northern Oklahoma State College - Enid
